Celebrating 20 challenges!

In the first full week back in 2026 CLASP staff have been reflecting on 2025 and our 20th anniversary year, in particular the 20 challenges undertook by members, staff, (including their families), trustees and volunteers.

As well as our 20th anniversary year being a year of celebration and new experiences nearly

all pledged to do a challenge as part of our overall fundraising efforts. So far our CLASP 20th anniversary Just Giving page totals £840 with many friends and families donating. More money has been collected in cash (lots of coins!) and on through the donate button on this website. It isn't too late to donate, if you want to show your support for those that undertook and completed challenges please click here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/clasp20

The year started with Barbara W who was the first to complete a challenge by making 20 Hama Bead shapes and ending with Fraser (Debs husband) who completed his challenge of 20 jigsaw puzzles on New Years Eve!

We have featured members challenges throughout the year and the challenges undertaken were wide and varied and included completing 20 word searches (Mandy), swimming 20 lengths a week and aqua aerobics for 20 weeks (Ashleigh), visit 20 heritage sites (Martin K), hand knit 20 hats for premature babies (Karen C) 20 train trips more than 20 minutes from Wokingham (Ian H) and so many more.
