CLASP member Philip headed north last weekend to the wedding of his cousin Ben to Becky.
Initially Philip didn't want to go the wedding as he finds it difficult to be given a lot of information at one time and going to the wedding involved travelling and staying overnight, information he needed time to think about and understand. Philip wanted to go to the wedding and see his cousins but felt nervous about going.

His family, parents, sister, brother-in-law and nephews were all going and after taking time to think about it Philip was happy to go and was very glad he did.
Ben is the son of his Dad's brother. Philip hadn't seen Ben and his other cousins' for quite a while so it was good to see them.
The wedding was near Manchester and the family travelled up on the Friday. It was a hot day but fortunately the weather was a bit cooler for the wedding the following day. All of the family stayed together and made the most of the nice weather by having a BBQ in the evening.

The wedding venue was lovely and the bride looked beautiful. Philip also looked very smart in his suit and new shirt!
The wedding reception was a Ceilidh (Barn Dance) which was great fun and got everyone up and dancing, including Philip, who had a fun evening. As well as the dancing there were pizza's, perhaps a few too many, as there were lots left over.
Philip had a really good time at his Ben and Becky's wedding and was very glad he could overcome his initial anxiety and go.
