CLASP is twenty years old this year and members are pledging to do a challenge of 20 something. This can be, baking 20 cakes, walking 20 miles, doing 20 star jumps a day etc., anything with a theme of 20 to celebrate CLASP's 20th anniversary.

We are also all going to try and do twenty new experiences, some together, some with our friends and some on our own. CLASP have lots of exciting new things planned to help meet this goal. This is different from our challenge.

Barbara W's idea for her challenge came when she found the beads in her craft boxes and decided she would like to create 20 different Hama bead designs and shapes. Barbara started straight away and came up with her own colours and shapes. The only one that she had help with was the England flag when she copied the design. Barbara has obviously been busy, completing between 2 and 5 a day and is the first member to complete her challenge!

Barbara created some beautiful and colourful creations of many different shapes, including a fabulous one of the CLASP logo, after a suggestion from her sister Audrey, which is now proudly displayed in the CLASP office.

Barbara found her 20 anniversary challenge to be both therapeutic and enjoyable. She should be proud to, her bead designs are bright, bold and beautiful. Well done Barbara.
